What happens to the information you send us, in plain terms. This site collects nothing about you unless you choose to write to us.

Who we are
Cicala Group operates this website, cicalagroup.com, and is the data controller for any personal information you send through it.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form on our contact page. That is four things:
- Your name.
- Your email address.
- The subject you select, so your message reaches the right person.
- The message you write.
What we do not collect
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from third-party servers. We do not track you across this site or any other, we do not build a profile of you, we do not advertise to you, and we do not sell or share your information with anyone for their own purposes.
If you never use the enquiry form, we hold no personal information about you at all.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use what you send solely to read your enquiry and reply to it. Where your message concerns a possible working relationship, we process it in order to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. Otherwise we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
We do not use your details for marketing, and we will not add you to a mailing list because you wrote to us.
Who sees it
Your enquiry is delivered by email to the Cicala Group inbox responsible for the subject you selected, with our general enquiries inbox copied. Nobody outside Cicala Group receives it, other than the service providers below who carry it on our behalf.
Service providers
Two companies process data on our behalf, under contract and on our instructions only:
- Vercel Inc., which hosts this website and keeps short-term server logs of requests, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.
- Resend, which delivers the enquiry email. Delivery is processed in the European Union.
Spam checks
The form includes a field hidden from people but visible to automated scripts, and it measures how long the page was open before submission. Both are used only to discard automated submissions. Neither is stored, and neither tells us anything about you.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry for as long as we need it to answer you and to handle anything that follows from it — a conversation, a proposal, a working relationship. When it is no longer needed for that purpose, we delete it.
Your rights
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. You can also withdraw consent where we relied on it.
To exercise any of these, write to us through the enquiry form and say what you would like us to do. We will respond within one month.
If you believe we have handled your information badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office; in the EEA it is the supervisory authority for your country.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this site handles personal information, we will update this page and change the date above before the change takes effect.
